We are proud to launch Eyes on Habitat: Coral Reefs, a multi-user interactive VR education/training solution powered by Storyhive! A group of marine biologists, divers or even people from the general public can now follow an instructor as they virtually “dive” together around Sisters’ Island Marine Parks and learn more about marine lives in Singapore.
This VR education/training solution was created by Hiverlab, IMDA PIXEL Labs, and DHI Water & Environment, powered by Hiverlab’s Storyhive multi-user presentation and communication system, and supported/sponsored by IMDA, Samsung, Huawei, and Aliyun (Alibaba Cloud). The launch event was featured in mainstream media, such as The Straits Times, Channel News Asia, Mediacorp Channel 8, Lianhe Zaobao, Mashable, and more.
Moving on, we are looking at creating a collaborative platform where more people around the world can contribute to content creation and also use the interactive content for education and marine life conservation. San Francisco-based NGO TheHydrous will partner with us in this movement.
